Project participants shared their project experience at a booklet launch event and a series of outreach events to engage the wider community. The co-produced publication was distributed to all participants and used as a catalyst for discussion giving people the opportunity to share information, stories and recipes linked to their own festivals.
Booklet Launch Event
The official launch of the co-produced booklet was celebrated with project participants sharing their experiences and foods from many of the festivals.
Everyone contributed, and its wonderful to see the booklet come together, I will have memories of this forever

We shared recipes of some special foods from different Chinese festivals including sticky rice wrapped in bamboo leaves made for the Dragon Boat Festival

Community Food Tasting Event
An open event, sharing the project and the booklet with the wider community with talks, food tasting, recipes, live music and cultural artefacts on display.
I really enjoyed the event, stalls were informative and the food was tasty.
So many communities came together, a great idea, the booklet is a gem.
